my name is Ron Baltuch, I'm 26 and I'm a freelance multidisciplinary graphic designer and video editor based in Tel Aviv. I'm currently a third year student for Visual Communication at Shenkar College of Engineering and Design.

I grew up in Ramat Gan which is at the center of Israel and for the past two years I've lived in Tel Aviv. Since I was interested in drawing at early age I took oil painting classes. In high school I wanted to find more ways to express myself and so I majored in cinema at Blich High school. While in high school I was also ski racing and participated in the local CISV chapter. CISV aims to educate and inspire action for a more just and peaceful world.

When I graduated from high school, I started my military service at the IDF Spokesperson’s Film Unit as a video editor. I excelled and later promoted to a commanding position over the unit’s post production team. The team included fifteen soldiers working with graphic design, special effects, motion graphics, compositing, editing and more. It was then that I realized that I want to become a graphic designer and incorporate my experience as a video editor and love for cinema and art into my work.

After completing my mandatory service, I decided to apply for graphic design schools and study Visual Communication. Then I took some time off to travel to South America and Europe.
